My name is Ella Mein Maria Staal (she/her). I am 21 years old, born in Leiden, the Netherlands, and raised in Cape Town, South Africa.

After moving to Rotterdam 3 years ago I studied Economics at Erasmus University College (EUC) and wrote my bachelor thesis on the relationship between a company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) scores, and its stock market performance.

I am currently following the Rotterdam Arts and Sciences Lab (RASL) minor from Willem de Koning, Codarts, and EUC, and following the course Economics of sustainability at EUC.

I will complete my bachelor's in November and aim to start my master's in August 2023 in the field of sustainability. I am now eagerly looking for an Internship at a sustainable company/collective in the Netherlands for the period January 2023 to August 2023.
